All traffic to FastLegal Payroll is encrypted in transit over HTTPS (TLS).
Customer data is stored on servers hosted in India, with access restricted to authorised personnel.
Passwords are stored as salted one-way hashes; two-factor authentication (TOTP) is available for admin accounts.
Every payroll-affecting action is recorded in an append-only audit log available to workspace admins.
Access within a workspace is role-based (admin, payroll, approver, viewer, employee) so users only see what their role permits.
We take regular database backups to enable recovery in case of failure.
